|Full Address||UK, Knutsford, Blackhill Lane|
At Bexton we work in partnership with children, parents and extended families to develop lively and enquiring minds that acquire knowledge and skills relevant to our children’s needs, now and in the future.
To do this, we:
Offer a broad and balanced curriculum which recognises each child’s individuality and meets his / her needs
Offer first hand experiences wherever possible in order to stimulate interest
Have equal opportunities for access to all parts of the curriculum
Foster worthwhile attitudes and values of caring and respect for others
Recognise and value each child’s talents and enable them to feel part of a loving, caring community
Bexton goes Beyond:
So that children radiate Bexton values
So that children enjoy learning and achieve their academic best
So that childrens’ individual skills and interests are encouraged and celebrated
So that children explore global issues and develop life skills for the future
So that our local community feels involved
We believe strongly in developing independent learning skills within our pupils, please see the attached document to read more about what this means for Bexton learners.
We are extremely fortunate to be situated on a large plot of land (4 – 5 acres) near the centre of Knutsford and close to the country estates of Tatton Park, Arley Hall and Tabley House. The surrounding rural agricultural landscape provides enhanced opportunities for learning and underpins ecological and environmental awareness.
We are one of the largest primary schools in Cheshire, and as such can offer our children many opportunities in a wide variety of after school sports and arts clubs. Bexton Primary is a successful, popular and happy school and we hope that our website reflects this.
For detailed information on our performance data, OFSTED inspection, SEN offer and more, please see here.
Any queries regarding school issues can be addressed either to myself or the School Business Manager, Julie Griffiths at the address below, or if you are a parent of one of our pupils, matters can be discussed with your child’s class teacher.
