    The Carnival is coming to town!
    After many successful years as a Knutsford based business owner, award-winning interior designer Rebecca Davies is announcing the launch of Carnival Interiors, an interior design business that celebrates personality & colour in both retail and domestic environments. Rebecca, previously owner of Aunty Mabel’s Seat on King Street, has taken new premises on Silk Mill Street. These are familiar surroundings for Rebecca as she recently helped transform The Freemasons Arms into The Folly, with an eclectic mix of bespoke upholstery, vintage finds and uniquely adapted artwork.

    Although this has meant Rebecca saying a fond farewell to Aunty Mabel’s Seat, she’s very excited about the new business. ‘In essence, it’s only our immediate surroundings that have changed. Our business has taken on more & more interior design clients over the past few years, and so it’s a natural progression to concentrate even more time on that area of business,’ said Rebecca.

    Rebecca commented further saying ‘The demand for one-off bespoke upholstery pieces has continued to grow too and so that element will very much remain, as will our popular craft classes that have inspired many in the local community to pick up their paintbrushes & unleash their own creativity.’

    With further plans to expand into online retail, Rebecca’s knack for sourcing uniquely individual pieces will now reach a wider audience, and clients will still be able to call on her for both vintage items, and newer, more on-trend products such as French brand Ibride and playful English brand Mineheart.

    Rebecca is proud to be staying in Knutsford and working with clients across Cheshire. ‘I’ve developed a great client base, and some strong relationships with fellow local businesses in the town, so I feel blessed to be staying here and to remain part of such a welcoming, friendly community.’ commented Rebecca.
