Curzon Knutsford will open from Monday 24 August at reduced operational hours. The cinema will open 30 minutes before the start of the first film screening. Please check the schedule for more details.
Curzon Knutsford is a beautifully refurbished three-screen cinema with a bar and kitchen for cocktails and light bite snacks for pre and post your film screening. Renovated in autumn 2018, the venue has been designed to provide a comfortable setting for all, from a family excursion to a more glamorous evening out, with a programme to suit every kind of film taste.
Having operated as a cinema since the 1930s, our screen names pay tribute to local history. The Cranford screen is named in honour of pioneering woman Elizabeth Gaskell and her beloved novels that chronicle Knutsford life. Our intimate Marcliff screen references the name the cinema bore when it was founded – when it hosted screenings as well as variety shows – until the 1960s. Our largest screen – the Studio – honours the name of the cinema as it was known to locals for most of its life.
