Knutsfordian Photography Exhibition

It’s less than one month to go until the return of the Knutsfordian photography exhibition.

Knutsfordian III will showcase 12 well known faces from the Knutsford community and is the third edition of the exhibition which was last held in 2013 and 2014.

The stars of the exhibition have been photographed in unique, quirky portraits which will be displayed for one-day only. Local photographer Paul Worpole has worked with the Town Council on the event to produce the portraits.

The exhibition will be open to the public on Sunday 4th July from 11am-4pm. Entry to the event is free, with optional donations made to support the Town Council’s extensive events programme.

The location for the event this year is Marshall’s House, the old auction house on Church Hill, opposite St John’s Church. The building is now owned by GGM Properties and their joint venture partner, M Boss, who together have re-branded the building as Egerton Place.

The developers are currently spending over £2 million to bring the hall back to its original condition and are currently planning for Egerton Place to be used predominantly for wedding venues, conferences and leisure activities.

Alex Brown, Events Officer at Knutsford Town Council, said: “This is the first time that the Knutsfordian exhibition will be held since 2014, and we’re thrilled to be offering this opportunity to highlight just a few of the many outstanding community figures, groups and businesses which Knutsford is home to. We hope to be able to hold this event again in the future to showcase more of these incredible people.”

Full details for the event can be viewed on the Facebook event, or by heading to the Town Councils website Posters and flyers for the event can also be found around the town centre.
