Not everybody knows, but Cheshire is home to some of the world’s leading global medical communications agencies – not least Knutsford’s ‘Prime Medical Group’, who next year will celebrate 20 years of delivering exceptional global communications to support the pharmaceutical industry.
Wednesday 8th June was international ‘Medcomms day’ – with lots of fun activities to celebrate the important contribution of medical communications towards world health, and to recognise the hard-working people engaged in the sector.
Celebrations involved traditional afternoon tea and cakes in the Knutsford and London offices, the sentiment being shared by colleagues in New York and San Francisco with brunch in the sun! Aisleen Peterson and Nicola Jenkins from the Knutsford team popped along to King Street’s Cancer Research charity shop to help out and spread some local med comms spirit!
Managing Director Graeme Peterson shares his thoughts, “It’s an exciting time for the Group right now, with the business working across many different therapeutic areas and on several innovative new medical programmes. The fact that we started out in Knutsford almost 20 years ago with just a small team of 3, and have grown to over 80 employees working from our Knutsford, London, New York and San Francisco offices, is a testament to the commitment and expertise of the people in the team”
Look out for more from The Prime Medical Group over the next few months as the business looks to launch its new brand identity and website.
