Knutsford Welcomes Christmas Shoppers!

Knutsford is ready to welcome back Christmas shoppers after the restrictions of the latest lockdown are eased.

Sandra Curties, the town centre and marketing officer for Knutsford Town Council, said “Knutsford is a perfect place to do some Christmas shopping.  Whether you are looking for young or old, our independent and sometimes quirky shops have the perfect gifts.  Our small business owners offer a personal service often including gift wrap and will take their time to help you source the perfect present.  Of course, this personal service will be under safe Covid guidelines too”.  

Jo Ashton of The White Orchid Floral Boutique said, “Whilst we kept ourselves busy during this second Lockdown with pre-orders and collections, it doesn’t compare to being open properly especially at Christmas. We love the atmosphere in the shop, helping customers choose the perfect festive wreath or floral display or choosing a little gift.  We, like all the Knutsford shops, can’t wait to welcome everyone back”.

There are three free parking days in Knutsford too – Saturday 5^th, 12^thand 19^thDecember with, Silk Mill, King and Princess Street car parks will be free after 10am.  12^thand 13^thDecember will also host Knutsford Christmas Markets with a smaller but still unique offering of market traders showcasing the best Cheshire food, drink and gifts. Knutsford’s festive Christmas lights will also brighten up the town alongside the shops magical Christmas windows.

If you are unsure what to buy, then this year Knutsford has the perfect answer – The Knutsford voucher!  Redeemable in just over 50 shops the voucher is valid for a year, comes in £5 and £10 denominations and can be ordered via Knutsford Town Council website or in person at the Council Offices.
